Segafredo Zanetti Espresso Café, loved around the world for its multi-sensory experience reflecting the lifestyle of the Italian café, opens its newest location at 1421 South Miami Avenue in the downtown Miami / Brickell area. The elaborate red and white floral design matches Segafredo Zanetti Espresso Café’s signature colors. Inside the venue, exhibiting the same level of chic-meets-comfort as the exterior, guests will experience a true Italian-style café with a coffee bar with barstools, plush red leather couches and free Internet services. The Segafredo Brickell menu identity is based on its Italian heritage and, in addition to favorite espresso drinks and pastries, will offer a large selection of Italian-style food and café, music and signature cocktails.

Located within the restaurant, Spazio Nero is a lavish boutique night club that will be open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Embodying the nightclub’s name, the décor is outfitted in all things black, from the stylish black leather couches with silver buttons, to the black-tinted mirrors throughout, to the fleur-de-lis textured black-on-black wallpaper. The club features an elevated DJ booth, a one-of-a-kind advanced multi-zoned distribution audio system and a computer controlled lighting program by Infinite Audio Systems.

This is as close as it gets to Havana's Tropicana, the swanky, pre-Castro supper club where "Babalu" was born. The salsa theme puts on the ritz accompanied by lots of Cuban food, lots of Cuban music, and lots of Cubans period.

Restaurant Description:

Adjacent to the American Airlines Arena in downtown Miami, this high-energy venue re-creates “Old Havana” style with tropical décor and live entertainment that encourages patrons to hit the dance floor between courses. The lunch/dinner menu features Cuban classics such as ham croquettes ($5), Cuban sandwiches ($8), and entrées such as shrimp with garlic sauce ($19), Cuban-style skirt steak ($19), and Bongos’ famous shredded chicken ($14): a twist on vaca frita (shredded beef), which is also available. Keeping with Cuban tradition, the desserts include a rich rice pudding ($5) and a three-milk cake ($6) that’s so dense and sweet you will need a cortadito ($2.75) to wash it down. A family-friendly venue with vegetarian options and a full kids’ menu, Bongos is a great stop for any pre- or post-arena activities. The views of the bay from virtually every seat in the restaurant are a bonus.
